Hey, my name is Mia! I am a visual designer who was born and raised in South Florida! My favorite thing about design is the fact that I get to be creative while also making works that have practical world uses. People describe me as very detail-oriented since I always notice the particularities of a design piece and improve on them! I am sure that I will be a strong part of your team due to my love for collaboration and my hard-working nature!
Velo Cycling App and Landing Page
A cycling app that provides cyclists an easy and widely accessible way of tracking their cycling progress. The clean and simplistic UI gives the app a tropical feel, which pays homage to the app’s place of origin in Florida. Additionally, while the landing page uses the same visual style, it intentionally attracts new users with its fun and attractive visuals.
Armin Hofmann Editorial
An editorial magazine that details the life and work of Armin Hofmann, a renowned Swiss designer. Each of the four spreads is designed with inspiration from Hofmann’s works. The use of typography flows with the visual elements to create a dynamic layout which interacts with the entirety of each spread while allowing ample negative space.
Moonlight LP Record Design
A long play record redesign for the album ‘Moonlight’ by the band disclosure. The design uses strong themes of outer space, bright colors and astronauts. Cutouts are used in the design as an element of visual interest and create added value to the product. Some AI was used in the production of the album’s imagery.
