Darija Vasileva

The Interactive Innovator

I’m Darija Vasileva, a designer who is all about the user. The end goal of my work is to create aesthetically pleasing and practical visual experiences. My design style is moldable to whatever the project requires, and I draw inspiration from many different sources stemming from various design movements and creative mediums.

Rotarie App

An interactive prototype for Rotarie app, an online class management system for instructors and students in postsecondary institutions. The simplicity and friendly imagery make the app easy to use. Overall, the app eases otherwise complicated tasks including classroom, assessment, and schedule management. Calming shades of green and blue dominate the designs, while contrast is maintained for proper readability.

Identity BFA Show Poster

Poster designs for the promotion of FAU’s Identity BFA Exhibition. The posters’ visual materials are consistent with the invitation and class website, but also fulfill their purpose independently from the design system. Important details like event information and the class website’s QR code are placed in a way that completes the overall composition instead of just being secondary elements. The posters were created in collaboration with Amanda Motilva Rivero.

DopeKicks Storefront

A logo and website design for Dope Kicks, a fashion e-commerce site that sources and sells luxury shoes. The sleek look and smooth interactions on the web page complement the high-end atmosphere. Minimal elements focus viewers on the product and accommodate the many sellers available on the site.
